SOL Tests
The Virginia SOL Tests are coming! In order to help your student succeed, please remind your student of the following:

1.  Get a good night's sleep before the test!
2.  Read EVERY answer carefully!
3.  Use your test-taking strategies.
4.  Check your answer TWICE before turning in your test.
5.  Separate yourself from classmates that will cause you to be distracted.
6.  Eat breakfast.

Parents, it is also very important that you make sure your child is at school for ALL of the SOL tests.  It is very important for the success of both your student and our school.

The Virginia SOL Testing Schedule is as follows:

May 4: Algebra SOL
May 5: Geometry SOL
May 19: History SOL
May 26: Reading SOL
June 2: Math SOL
June 4-9: Science SOL

Benchmark Test #3
8th Grade students will begin taking their Benchmark Tests for the third quarter on April 22 (Thursday).  The testing schedule is as follows:

April 22: 8th Grade Mathematics
April 23: 8th Grade Reading
April 26: 8th Grade Civics and Economics
April 27: 8th Grade Science
Supplies Needed
All of Mrs. Morse's students are required to have the following:

1.  3 ring binder
2.  loose leaf paper
3.  pens/pencils
4.  folder with two pockets
5.  one subject notebook/composition book
